Steel Strips

Hardened & Tempered Steel Strips:

The Hardened and Tempered Steel Strip products consist of medium to high carbon and alloy steels with a carbon content ranging from 0.35% to 1.30%.

These steels are typically produced with sheared edges and a slightly oxidized blue-black finish, acceptable for engineering applications. Enhanced properties can be achieved by edge machining the strip, either before or after hardening and tempering.

Applications of Hardened and Tempered Steel Strip:

  • Woodworking saws (band saws, hand saws, cross-cut saws, pit saws)
  • Masonry and agricultural tools
  • Gang saw blades for marble cutting
  • Leather splitting blades
  • Spiral coil springs
  • Circular saws
  • Tubes and non-ferrous metal cutting
