Steel Strips
Hardened & Tempered Steel Strips:
The Hardened and Tempered Steel Strip products consist of medium to high carbon and alloy steels with a carbon content ranging from 0.35% to 1.30%.
These steels are typically produced with sheared edges and a slightly oxidized blue-black finish, acceptable for engineering applications. Enhanced properties can be achieved by edge machining the strip, either before or after hardening and tempering.
Applications of Hardened and Tempered Steel Strip:
- Woodworking saws (band saws, hand saws, cross-cut saws, pit saws)
- Masonry and agricultural tools
- Gang saw blades for marble cutting
- Leather splitting blades
- Spiral coil springs
- Circular saws
- Tubes and non-ferrous metal cutting
